We offer an out of hours medical service 24/7 through the Telephone Assessment Service (TAS).
How do I contact the TAS?
You can contact the TAS by calling your local medical centre. The main medical centre phone number is transferred to the TAS when the medical centre is closed.
If you are based in Ramstein, Goch, Wesel or Ayrshire Barracks, you can contact the TAS on 0521 305 3961.

How does the TAS work?
The TAS is staffed by a number of call handlers who will take your initial call and ask you a few questions so they can prioritise your call back. You will be called back by an experienced English speaking nurse who is trained to assess the information provided and who will be able to advise you on the most appropriate care.
Is there anything I need to provide?
You will be asked for your telephone number so that a medical professional can call you back. This can be a landline or a local or UK mobile. If you provide a mobile number, you must ensure that you have enough credit on the phone to receive the call.
Can I ring on behalf of my children?
Yes, you can contact the TAS for children. You will need to be present with the child when you call and also during all further calls. It is not possible for the TAS to do an assessment if the child is not with you.
