Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services

In the first instance, book an appointment with your GP who can help with many common mental health conditions, by providing support and medication if appropriate.  Telephone Sennelager Medical Centre on 05254 982 2414.

Your GP can also refer patients aged 5-17 to our remote Child and Adolescent Mental Health Service (CAMHS) team. The remote CAMHS team has English-speaking mental health clinicians who can provide support via secure video consultations on your laptop or smartphone.

Both our GPs and remote CAMHS team can manage mild to moderate mental health conditions.

For families in EJSU/ISODEts, in the first instance book an appointment with your host nation Community Paediatrician, who can help with many common mental health conditions, by providing support and medication if appropriate. If they suggest support from a Children and Adolescent 5-17 Mental Health Service (CAMHS) please contact the Lead GP at SHAPE Medical Centre to request a referral to the UK remote team. The remote CAMHS team has English speaking health clinicians who can provide support via secure video consultations.  SHAPE Medical Centre 0032 6544 5824.
